Textbook Purchase Program - (7th - 12th Grades Only)
The purpose of this program is to allow a more equitable sharing of textboo1 costs throughout the student body. Depending upon the grade level, textbooks cost different amounts. For some grades, the cost is about $2 while for others the cost is closer to $350. Thus, the students who are using the less costly textbooks will pay the lesser amounts. Students using the more costly textbooks will pay greater amounts.
Here how the program works:
- Families will purchase their students' books for the specific classes they are taking.

- HCS will provide a variety of payment arrangements.

- Information about pricing and registration days will be provided early so families can plan ahead.

- At the end of each school year, families will be given a credit for their purchase price of non-consumable books, minus wear and tear or damage.

- The credit given will be used as full or partial payment to purchase books for the upcoming school year.
